Every year brought new achievements. To name a few: the first household sewing machine in 1932, the top model with electronic foot control in 1971, then the first computerized BERNINA and finally the sewing computer of the new millennium. For the BERNINA Stitch Regulator, which provides precise, regular stitches in free-hand quilting, BERNINA won the award for "Best Innovator" from A.T. Kearney. The CutWork product was awarded the Swiss Technology Award.
