BERNINA Trapunto Collection Vol. 2
With the Trapunto technique you can create "raised" designs in which the patterns stand out three-dimensionally from the background. Trapunto is a very traditional technique used in handicrafts that has been around since the 14th century. This old quilting technique originates from Sicily (Italy). In order to create the raised effect, the designs are normally stuffed with wadding. With the BERNINA embroidery collection, you do not need wadding as the pattern is created entirely on your machine.
