Swiss national dress and traditional costumes are some of the most beautiful symbols of folk culture and provide a source of inspiration for all hobby sewers. They are often richly embroidered or decorated using other techniques. Over the course of the year, the BERNINA Calendar will illustrate a selection of these traditional items of clothing – traditional dress as well as special costumes. Each month, a fitting free embroidery design will be published.
