Darning foot #9

The vertical spring action presses the darning foot to the fabric, preventing the fabric from lifting along with the needle, and thereby ensuring reliable stitch formation. This obvisously makes for perfect darning, but this foot can also be used for quilting light.to medium-weight quilts.

Beim Hochziehen der Nadel, drückt die vertikale Feder (Hüpfermechanismus) auf den Stoff. Dadurch wird verhindert, dass der Stoff mit der Nadel hochgezogen wird oder flattert.
