What I love about my BERNINA 440QE!

  • My ¼” foot sews a perfect ¼” seam.
  • I love the needle down function – it is especially handy when free motion quilting, as I can reposition the quilt and my hands as necessary without worrying about my quilt shifting under the machine.
  • The stitch quality is exceptional, and straight seams are perfectly straight.
  • My walking foot is brilliant for sewing through multiple layers of fabric and interfacing – especially useful when making bags and wallets.
  • I love that my free motion foot has a stitch regulator, so I can really experiment with quilting designs and know that my stitch length and quality will be perfect without having to think about it.
  • The accessories case is fabulous – I love that my machine has her own little wardrobe to hold all the necessary bit and pieces.
  • The extension table is a permanent fixture on my machine. It is great for piecing (especially for long seams) and supporting my quilts when quilting.
