With so many cuddly projects for you to sew – whether in the “new winter wardrobe” or “home dec” category – no one could accuse us of leaving our readers out in the cold!
Here, our convertible coat which doubles as a jacket is the essence of versatility. Classically styled, smartly tarted-up or young and funky, with a minimum of effort you’ll have four different looks with one top and two different skirt sections. Scarves, hat and mobile-phone wallet with additional handy compartments can be found under the “Accessories” heading.
But coat and scarf alone are not enough. A nifty dress always comes in handy, and waistcoats – whether fitted or casual – are just the thing to round out many an outfit. Our sweet Ice Princess will captivate most little girls’ hearts.
The leotard (bodysuit) was painted with a new BERNINA accessory – the PaintWork tool – and subtly embellished with rhinestones. Yes – BERNINA can now also paint, and create templates for
rhinestones! With the help of the new BERNINA software products and your embroidery module, you can do this too!
The whole family coming together at Christmas creates a warm and festive atmosphere. Our pretty homemade decorations will certainly not go unnoticed or uncommented on. The scent of freshly baked cookies wafts out of the kitchen, which you’ve perhaps decked out with some of the textiles and seasonal decorations found in this issue.
