"I was born in the 1970s and the colours and design I created remind me of photos from my childhood. I imagine the quilt as a person wearing brown corduroy pants with a flared collar button-down shirt in avocado, orange and yellow. Synthetics were the name of the game and that is mirrored in the materials used."
