We're thrilled to announce the opening of applications for our Brand Ambassador Class of 2022!

BERNINA and bernette Ambassadors are creators who craft and showcase the experience of BERNINA and bernette machines throughout the sewing community. Our Ambassadors are made to create and offer inspiration to other makers through their passion, enriched by the performance of the product. Through WeAllSew blog posts and tutorials, dedicated social media support, plus more, these individuals continually inspire the desire to embrace new and innovative ideas, truly understanding the pride of accomplishing a finished sewing project.

Please review the criteria and requirements outlined below for the BERNINA and bernette Brand Ambassador Program. Do you satisfy the criteria, whether as an Artisan/Educator or Social Influencer/Blogger and accept the requirements? If so, we welcome you to submit a proposal and complete the application process, letting us know why you would make the best candidate to become a BERNINA or bernette Brand Ambassador.

PROGRAM CRITERIA

Artisan/Educator

  • Active and consistent website and/or blog, social media
  • Calendar of available classes and appearances on social media reflecting a nationwide reach
  • Willingness to support BERNINA Dealer network with workshops
  • Agree to BERNINA and bernette machine exclusivity
  • Demonstrate strong sewing skills and quality work
  • Present high-quality photography
  • Timeliness and ability to meet deadlines
  • Exercise clear communication capabilities, both oral and written
    • Previous experience in preparing a class curriculum, supply list, step-outs

Social Influencer/Blogger

  • Active and consistent social media platforms
    • Website/Blog
    • Instagram
    • Facebook
    • YouTube
    • Pinterest
    • TikTok
  • Agree to BERNINA and bernette machine exclusivity
  • Demonstrate strong sewing skills and quality work
  • Present high-quality photography
  • Timeliness and ability to meet deadlines
  • Exercise clear communication capabilities, both oral and written
    • Previous experience in sewing-related blogs and/or project tutorials

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Eighteen (18) month contractual Agreement
  • Actively support the BERNINA or bernette brand through social media
    • Tutorials and projects
    • Social media teasers
    • Tagging BERNINA or bernette on a regular basis
  • Content produced will become the property of BERNINA of America, with a one (1) year royalty-free worldwide license during the term of the Agreement
  • Display the Ambassador Badge on website/blog and social media platforms, with links back to BERNINA of America’s website, during the term of Agreement
  • View no less than three (3) of the four (4) quarterly Ambassador informational webinars
  • Return of loaned product at the end of the contractural Agreement, unless the product is purchased
  • The loaned product must be returned to BERNINA of America in good condition, normal wear and tear excepted
  • Applicants must reside in the United States
