BERNINA DEALER TO HOST CLASSES BY BERNINA EDUCATOR DEBBI LASHBROOK ON JUNE 10 – 11 IN FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Blow's Sew-n-Vac, a BERNINA Dealer in Fargo, N.D., is hosting two days of classes with BERNINA educator and trainer Debbi Lashbrook. The classes will be held Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11 at the Dealer, 4101 13th Ave. S., in the Village West Shopping Center. Ms. Lashbrook will teach two different classes:

• "Made to Create: Journey through Creativity," on Monday, June 10, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Participants will explore innovative BERNINA machine features, accessories and notions during a lecture and demo class. There will be door prizes and refreshments will be offered. The fee for this class is $10.
• "Made to Create: Creative Organization," on Tuesday, June 11, from 9:00 a.m. - Noon and from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Participants will turn a simple sewing organizer fabulous with a dash of appliqué, crystals and customization with BERNINA embroidery accessories and DesignWorks Software. Sewing machines and kits will be provided by the Dealer. The fee for this class is $10.

BERNINA's DesignWorks Software Suite offers three modules, CutWork, PaintWork and CrystalWork components, turning your embroidery machine into a mixed media tool. Each module may be used independently or in combination with the others. With CutWork, shapes, patterns and designs are cut from multiple layers of fabric. PaintWork allows the application of pen drawings to fabric and textiles. Crystal appliqué patterns are created for textiles and garments using CrystalWork.
