BERNINA DEALER TO HOST WORKSHOP BY BERNINA EDUCATORS ELAINE CIBELLI AND ELVA MUNGAI ON APRIL 23 – 24 IN GENESEE DEPOT, WISCONSIN

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Pamella’s Place, a BERNINA Dealer in Genesee Depot, Wis., is hosting a two-day Software Bonanza workshop with BERNINA Educators Elaine Cibelli and Elva Mungai. The workshop costs $125 and will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24 at Pamella’s Place, S42 W31230 State Rd. 83. Lunch will be offered. Attendees are required to bring a laptop computer. The BERNINA Embroidery Software DesignerPlus V6 is available on loan for the class, but the Dealer must be informed at registration if the attendee would like to borrow it. BERNINA Educators Elaine Cibelli and Elva Mungai will share their expertise on BERNINA Embroidery Software DesignerPlus V6 during this hands-on workshop for beginner and intermediate users. Attendees will expand their knowledge through easy-to-understand skill building techniques. Attendees will work with lettering, monograms, editing, art canvas basics and quilter. Appliqué techniques will also be covered. Participants will receive a CD containing the workshop exercises.

Elva Mungai is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Home Economics Education. She has been teaching classes on BERNINA Embroidery Software since the earliest software versions. Ms. Mungai is part of the BERNINA national show team, has been an organizer for many webinars, and has been a part of the staff for some BERNINA Software Extravaganza events. She has also contributed projects for the BERNINA online magazine, Through the Needle Online.

Elaine Cibelli has a degree in Art Education. She has managed a BERNINA dealership/quilt shop, has been a part of the BERNINA national trade show team and is a BERNINA resource educator. Ms. Cibelli has contributed a variety of samples and projects for BERNINA of America and Oklahoma Embroidery Supplies Designs (OESD). Her work has been featured in BERNINA advertising and embroidery design covers.
