BERNINA DEALER TO HOST APPEARANCE BY LINDA LEE OF THE SEWING WORKSHOP ON MARCH 15 — 16

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Make It Sew, a BERNINA Dealer in Chanhassen, Minn., will host appearances by Linda Lee of The Sewing Workshop Pattern Collection on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16.  Ms. Lee will present Great Style at Any Age, a lecture and fashion show with garments from her pattern collection, at 7 p.m. on March 15.  Admission is $25.  She will also present a pants fitting class from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 15 and March 16.  Admission $199 per class.  Make It Sew is located at 600 Market St., Suite 110.

Ms. Lee is the owner of The Sewing Workshop Pattern Collection, a group of patterns for distinctive garments using innovative sewing techniques, and writes for Threads, Sew News and Stitch magazines.  She travels around the country teaching fine sewing techniques and the art of combining beautiful fabrics and distinctive design in garment and home decorating creations. She has written 14 award-winning books about garment sewing and interiors, including Sew Sensational Pillows and Sew Easy.
