BERNINA National Artisan Lezette Thomason to teach sewing classes using the new B 780 E

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that it will offer sewing classes using the new BERNINA 780 E machine at the 2013 Martha Pullen School of Art Fashion.  BERNINA National Artisan Lezette Thomason will teach the classes at the Von Braun Center, located at 700 Monroe St., in Huntsville, Ala., from Sunday, February 3 to Sunday, February 10, 2013. The BERNINA 780 E offers top quality embroidery, sewing and quilting functionality in an elegantly designed machine that leaves extra room for imagination.
The Martha Pullen School of Art Fashion is a four-day series of classes taught by 13 different sewing schools, including the BERNINA School with Lezette Thomason.  Ms. Thomason will guide students in creating classic girl's garments while teaching various machine techniques on the BERNIA 780 E.  She will teach three separate classes: Chic Ruffles, Swirls & Twirls, and Dotted Swiss Blouse & Overlaid Skirt.  Registration for the classes is filled.

Ms. Thomason, one of the founders of Children's Corner Patterns in Nashville, Tenn., has taught all over the world and has written several books on the subject of heirloom sewing and construction of classic children's clothing.  She has written articles for Sew Beautiful magazine, is the featured guest on two recent Martha Pullen Co. instructional DVDs, and has taught at the Martha Pullen School of Art Fashion for many years.  For more information about Lezette Thomason, please visit:  www.childrenscornerinc.com/wp/.
