BERNINA DEALER TO SHOWCASE NEW 7 SERIES AND DESIGNWORKS SOFTWARE AT ROAD TO CALIFORNIA

Convention Center Way, from Thursday, January 24 to Sunday, January 27.  The Dealers will be at booths 308, 310, and 312, and will demonstrate the new 7 Series line of machines and DesignWorks Software Suite.

BERNINA's 7 Series line of sewing, quilting and embroidery machines features the BERNINA 710, the BERNINA 750 QE (Quilter's Edition) and the 780 E (Embroidery).  Each 7 Series machine is equipped with a color touchscreen and the integrated BERNINA Dual Feed, which tames hard-to-manage and fine fabrics.  The 7 Series has a practical extension table with ample space to hold larger sewing projects, a semi-automatic needle threader, a one-step buttonhole sewing program, and a slide speed control.  The 7 Series also features the world's first, patent-pending BERNINA 9 Hook (B 9 Hook), which enables higher sewing and embroidery speeds, a wider stitch width and extra thread capacity in the bobbin.

BERNINA's DesignWorks Software Suite features three exciting components that turn select BERNINA embroidery machines, including the B 750 QE and B 780 E, into mixed-media tools, ready to customize fabric:

• CutWork cuts shapes, patterns and designs from multiple layers of fabric
• PaintWork applies pen drawings to fabric and textiles
• CrystalWork creates crystal appliqué patterns for textiles and garments
