BERNINA TO HOST TWO-DAY GREAT 8-SCAPE BERNINA 880 RETREAT AT THE BERNINA CREATIVE CENTER IN AURORA ILLINOIS
Registration is taking place now for March 11 – 12 and March 13 – 14 sessions
BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that it is accepting registration for a two-day retreat, BERNINA Great 8-Scape BERNINA 880 (B 880) Retreat taking place at the BERNINA Creative Center in Aurora, Ill. The first two-day session will run from Tuesday, March 11 through Wednesday, March 12. The second session will run from Thursday, March 13 through Friday, March 14. The BERNINA Creative Center is located at 3682 Unit B Prairie Lake Court, next to the BERNINA of America headquarters.
A team of expert BERNINA educators will lead a hands-on retreat where event-goers will discover the best in sewing and embroidery by experiencing a variety of the B 880s features including the Stitch Designer, Distortion, Shaping and much more. Enthusiasts will develop a solid foundation of knowledge of the B 880, discover what makes the B 880 so great and why creative sewers love it. The event fee is $299, which includes kit supplies, an instructional CD, BERNINA store shopping opportunities and lunch. BERNINA machines and accessories are also provided. The 4,500-square-foot BERNINA Creative Center opened in 2013 and consists of three rooms with enough space to hold up to 50 attendees and BERNINA machines. Events at the Center are designed to help consumers and BERNINA Dealers advance their sewing, quilting and embroidering skills.
