BERNINA DEALER DALEY BY THE YARD WILL CELEBRATE ITS GRAND OPENING AT A NEW LOCATION ON SATURDAY MAY 31 IN ACTON MASSACHUSETTS

Dealer will close May 10 – 20 during the move

BERNINA of America, the world’s premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Daley By The Yard, a BERNINA Dealer in Acton, Mass., is moving its store to 481 Great Road.  To celebrate, the Dealer will host a grand opening party Saturday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Rowenta travel irons will be given to the first 10 customers and free Daley By The Yard t-shirts will be available while supplies last.  In addition, the Dealer will hold raffles, offer refreshments, and host a series of 45-minute demonstrations of the BERNINA Quilt Frame and BERNINA DesignWorks Software Suite, and various trunk show presentations.  More information is available at (978)263-5900.
 
Daley By The Yard’s current location, at 178 Great Road, will close Friday, May 9.  The Dealer will remain closed until the new store opens Wednesday, May 21.  The new location will feature a single floor level, better parking and more classroom area.
 
Trunks show presenters during the grand opening include:

  • Jo Connolly, a columnist for Designs in Machine Embroidery, who will also sign copies of her new book, "Sweet Stitches"
  • Alice Greer, president of the Boston Modern Quilt Guild, who will demonstrate "improv” quilting
  • Boston Modern Quilt Guild, which will spotlight its members’ quilts
  • Cheryl Keigwi of Granny Gran Stitches, who will showcase her English Paper Piecing projects and demonstrate the technique
