BERNINA DEALER LINDA Z’S HOSTS A HANDS-ON EMBROIDERY AND QUILTING CLASS WITH WALTER FLORIANI JUNE 13 - 14 IN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ILLINOIS

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Linda Z’s, a BERNINA Dealer in Arlington Heights, Ill., will host a hands-on embroidery and quilting workshop with Walter Floriani on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Attendees will learn the secrets to perfect embroidery, from stabilizing to stitching, and have fun and laughs in the process.  Walter will also demonstrate BERNINA’s new 16-needle embroidery machine, the BERNINA E 16.  The workshop will take place at the Dealer, located at 1216 E. Walter Floriani’s family has been involved in the embroidery process for six generations.  Moving from Italy to the United States in the 1900s, the Floriani family brought with them the art of mechanized embroidery.  Walter’s father was dedicated to producing unsurpassed methods of digitizing and machine embroidery, and his influence will long be an integral part of the commercial embroidery industry.  Walter carries on the well-established family tradition with a different twist.  Long considered the “Guru of Digitizing,” he teaches digitizing and embroidery not only to thousands of commercial embroiderers but also to home embroiderers.
