BERNINA DEALER NEEDLE & I TO HOST SEWAPALOOZA FEATURING LORRAINE WILKINS TUESDAY JUNE 3 AND WEDNESDAY JUNE 4 IN SEATTLE WASHINGTON

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that The Needle & I, a BERNINA Dealer with locations in Seattle and Everett, Wash., is hosting Sewapalooza, a hands-on sewing, embroidery, and quilting workshop on Tuesday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  BERNINA Educator Lorraine Wilkins will lead attendees through a host of projects that focus on machine embroidery and quilting.  The event costs $49 per day and includes all supplies and lunch.  The workshop will take place at The Needle & I, which is located in Seattle at 540 NE Northgate Way, Suite D.  To register, call (206)724-065 or stop by the store.  Registration is required as seating is limited.
 
BERNINA Educator Lorraine Wilkins, from Bend, Oregon, whose grandmother was a seamstress and grandfather a tailor, began sewing when she was 10 years-old.  She has sewn off and on while working for telecommunications company and raising her family.  After taking her first quilt class at a local BERNINA dealership, and having fallen in love with BERNINA, she secured a part-time position with BERNINA where she sells and educates consumers and artisans.
