BERNINA DEALER THE SEWING PALACE TO HOST SEWAPALOOZA SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13 AND SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 14 IN HELENA MONTANA

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that The Sewing Palace, a BERNINA Dealer in Helena, Montana, is hosting Sewapalooza, a hands-on sewing, embroidery, and quilting workshop on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The workshops will be held at Carroll College located at 1601 North Benton Avenue, in the Lower Level of the Campus Center in Helena. BERNINA Educator Betty Stoltenburg will lead event-goers through two projects each day. The projects include an upcycled t-shirt to backpack as part of the overlocker/serger set, an embellished shoe sack utilizing CrystalWork, part of the BERNINA DesignWorks software suite, a pin cushion using BERNINA Software 7, and a cute clutch created in the embroidery hoop. Guests will take one finished project home each day. The event costs $90 for both days and $50 for one day and includes lunch, project kits, a goodie bag, a CD with project instructions, and use of BERNINA machines. BERNINA Educator Betty Stoltenburg, from Portland, Oregon, left Intel after 25 years to pursue her passion of sewing. She loves to sew, digitize, embroider and serge with her BERNINA machines. She has worked at a BERNINA dealership as a sales associate, 7 Series and Embroidery Software 7 instructor and is a co-chair of the Embroidery Club.
