Participants in the hands-on sewing, embroidery, and quilting workshop will use the new BERNINA 790 (B 790) and the top-of-the-line BERNINA 880 (B 880). The projects will be led by BERNINA educator Sandra Swick. The cost is $75.00 and includes all project materials, use of BERNINA machines, and lunch. The B 790 is one of BERNINA’s next generation 7 Series machines, which also includes the BERNINA 770 Quilter’s Edition and BERNINA 740. BERNINA Educator Sandra Larson Swick has been selling, sewing and teaching on BERNINA machines, professionally, for more than 20 years. She is an award-winning quilter, who made the first “Quilt in Space,” a quilt that traveled to the International Space Station with astronaut, Barbara Morgan. As a professional educator and graduate of the University of Oregon, she shares her love of sewing and textiles with students in the Pacific Northwest. She is a master teacher in embroidery, garment construction, quilting, specialty projects and crafts and has extensive knowledge about sergers.
