The B 880 is BERNINA’s top-of-the-line model and one of its fastest sewing and embroidery machines to-date. The B 880 also features more built-in stitch patterns and embroidery designs to choose than ever before. It comes standard with the BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR), which ensures stitches of the exact same length when free-motion sewing. Other features include 400 built-in embroidery designs, as well as the ability to create unique embroidery designs and adjust their color before embroidering begins. In addition, the B 880 has a Jumbo Bobbin with 80 percent more thread capacity than standard bobbins.
The Swiss Red features a sewing speed of up to 900 stitches per minute and 11 needle positions to provide the precise sewing quality that BERNINA owners expect. It also comes with five BERNINA presser feet, a slide-on table, and an exclusive BERNINA suitcase, which offers full shock-absorbing protection, rugged wheels, and an extendable handle. Additionally, machine owners have the option of adding a BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR), which provides consistent free-motion stitching, even at high sewing speeds. The BSR is available alone or included in the new Quilter Accessory Kit, which also features the BERNINA Walking foot #50, BERNINA Patchwork foot #37, and a magnifying lens set.
BERNINA Educator Sandra Larson Swick has been selling, sewing and teaching on BERNINA machines, professionally, for more than 20 years. She is an award-winning quilter, who made the first “Quilt in Space,” a quilt that traveled to the International Space Station with astronaut, Barbara Morgan. As a professional educator and graduate of the University of Oregon, she shares her love of sewing and textiles with students in the Pacific Northwest.
