Fairview Ave. Participants will learn sewing, quilting and embroidery techniques and tricks from Heather Loftstrom, a BERNINA event team member. Heather will lead attendees through an evening clutch and a billfold project using the BERNINA 880 (B 880) and BERNINA 790 (B 790). The B 880 is BERNINA’s fastest sewing and embroidery model to-date with a sewing speed of 1,200 stitches per minute, and boasts innovative features like Shaping, a Jumbo Bobbin, Stitch Designer and Color Wheel, as well as the BERNINA Dual Feed and BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR). The B 880 offers 1,764 built-in stitch patterns, 400 built-in embroidery designs, and 12 inches to the right of the needle. The B 790 is a sewing and embroidery combo machine with a 7-inch high-resolution color touch screen, 10 inches to the right of the needle and comes standard with the BERNINA Stitch Reuglator (BSR), which ensures stitches oft he exact same length when free-motion sewing. The B 790 is also equipped with the one-of-a-kind Stitch Designer, which allows users to draw their own stitches on the touch screen and in one click, convert them into a stitch pattern.
