BERNINA SEWING CENTER OF TOPEKA TO HOST SEWAPALOOZA FEATURING NANCY BEDNAR FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12

The cost is $35 and includes all supplies, use of BERNINA machines, lunch and beverages. The event will take place at the Dealer, located at 5331 S.W. 22nd Place, Suite 54, inside the Fairlawn Plaza Shopping Center. Nancy Bednar teaches embroidery, overlocker/serger and machine quilting tips and techniques. Nancy is from Brookfield, Ill., and is a sewing educator, freelance instructor and author, who uncovered her passion for sewing when she explored creative and practical aspects of sewing in elementary school. From creating garment and home decoration projects to bridal and special occasion sewing, Nancy’s true love is the overlocker/serger. Nancy has trained BERNINA Dealers and consumers about all aspects of sewing with a special emphasis on garment stitching and creative machine techniques. She is a regular contributor to the Sewing and Serger Update newsletters, and has been published in Sew News.
