This Creative Workshop will explore all the possibilities of the Bernina Long Arm. Explore creative surface design possibilities and more on a long-arm. Learn to quilt on nontraditional materials such as leather and cork. Create a fabric collage with various fibers. Explore surface embellishment from couching to thread painting to double needles. Create a design in Art and Stitch to embellish with threads and beads.

Nina McVeigh, a quilter, designer, and fabric artist, who previously owned a quilt shop for 15 years and most recently was the Quilting and Longarm Specialist for BERNINA of America, where she was involved in the development of BERNINA’s Longarm Quilting Machines. She has written for several magazines including McCall’s Quilting, Designs in Machine Embroidery and Through the Needle. Nina has contributed to the WEALLSEW Blog, writing articles on Heirloom Sewing and Quilting. She travels and teaches and gets so much inspiration from her students! She has also created her own line of Quilting Rulers
