Instructions

Size 104 – 122, Sized for 4 - 7 year olds

Cutting:
Seam allowances are included.

Hair ring:
Cotton strips 6 cm wide and 2 cm longer than the wire ring (see item 1)

Lower veil:
Each a rectangle in pink and purple tulle fabric 60 x 100 cm

Instructions:
Ring
1.    Measure the head circumference. Allow for some extra width depending on how much material is used to wrap around the ring. Cut 3 wires 10 cm longer than the head circumference, twist them and close them into a stable ring. If even more stability is required, then wrap the ring with additional wire. Ensure that there are no exposed sharp ends (risk of injury!).
2.    Iron fusible fleece to the cotton strips and allow to cool thoroughly. Press a 5 mm seam allowance along both sides. Sew the edges together lengthwise from the right (close to the edge) and sew in the wire ring in the same manner. (Tip: use the Leather Roller Foot #55 or Overlock Foot #2)
3.    Tuck in the ends and close by hand.
4.    Wrap the ring with tulle strips and pin together.
Veil:
1.    On each short side (2.5 cm from the edge), ruffle both tulle rectangles to 20 cm and pin to the inside of the veil so that the 2.5 cm protrude upwards.
2.    Attach various ribbons to the outside of the veil.
3.    Affix all layers of fabric to the hoop with a few stitches done by hand.
4.    If desired, notch the rectangle lengthwise or leave it be one piece.
Star:
1.    Download the CutWork file from the website and cut out the stars. Sew some of them on the side of the hoop and use the remaining for the star wristband.
