The sewing community of the Limpopo area was treated with a Sewing Fiesta during the week of 18 to 22 of April 2023. Various sewing related subjects were covered at the BERNINA Polokwane and BERNINA Makhado dealerships. Agnes Smit, the product specialist from BERNINA Head office, visited this area and, jointly with the shop owners and their staff, treated sewers with information on the latest sewing trends and techniques. The emphasis was on embroidery machine work and overlocking Gifts were handed to participants Lucky draws were done and Sephora Lesufi was a proud winne of one of the many lucky draws. Here is Sephora with Hester Engelbrecht, the owner of BERNINA Polokwane. This group of Sewers in Polokwane were amazed to see how easy it is to thread the overlockers and how versatile it can be - from using it for garment sewing to doing amazing creative sewing. At Makhado, Andeline Buitendag was one of the lucky draw winners. She can be seen (in the middle) with Agnes Smit (right) from BERNINA RSA and Alta Jansen (left), the owner of BERNINA Makhado. The sewers from Makhado were thrilled to see all the various techniques that can be performed on the BERNINA Embroidery machines. The large Embroidery Hoop caused much excitement.
