BERNINA involved with Siyabonga Africa - Thanks to Lottoland!

Fashion Design is part of the skills training offered at Siyabonga Africa, to young South African citizens, mainly women and people with disabilities, from disadvantaged backgrounds.



It offers an opportunity and platform to access training, business support and marketing skills that will catapult them into the world of fashion, clothing manufacturing and business, thus stimulating the local economy and contributing towards job creation.



`Thank You Lottoland` heard about the project and decided to sponsor a bernette Academy sewing machine, valued at R10 999 per machine, to each of the 10 best performing students.

The studens were super excited when BERNINA arrived, not only to deliver the machines, but also to do hands-on training with the students, to improve their product skills.  

They could not believe what these machines are capable of and how easy it is to operate.



We are happy to know that these machines found good homes and that it will assist these youngsters to create a sustainable income for themselves.
