Is it ok to use the thread cutter of the bobbin area when using metallic threads?

The Thread cutter can be used with metallic threads, however, the blade will dull quicker than with normal threads.Refer to 'Function Buttons' chapter in the user manual and read the very important tip: when using metallic or cordonnet threads, use the thread cutter on the head frame only.
