Quilting Preparation & Process

In the first 30 minute webinar of the Computerized Quilting with the Domestic Machine series we will discuss preparing your quilt for computerized quilting and how the quilting process works from set up to stitching.

We will have a review of BERNINA machines that are compatible with the computerized quilting technique and what to look for in embroidery designs for computerized quilting.

Stitch Perfection

The second 30 minute webinar of the Computerized Quilting with the Domestic Machine series will discuss perfecting the chosen quilt design, achieving the balanced stitch and options for the securing the start and ending stitches of the quilt design.

The BERNINA embroidery features, Smart Secure and Invisible Secure will be demonstrated along with BERNINA DesignerPlus Software. Threads, needles, bobbin cases and batting options will also be discussed.

Precise Design Positioning

The third 30 minute webinar of the Computerized Quilting with the Domestic Machine series will show quick and easy methods of positioning the quilt designs using the built-in BERNINA positioning features; Pinpoint Placement, Absolute check and Endless Embroidery.

Hooping the quilt, setting up the machine and handling the quilt during the embroidery process will be shown.

The fourth 30 minute webinar of the Computerized Quilting with the Domestic Machine series will discuss quilting blocks, borders and negative space and using computerized quilting in combination with other quilting techniques such as free-motion quilting, rulerwork and straightline quilting.
