Our sewing expert, Steph, demonstrates a whole range of different techniques using Bernina Embroidery Foot #39 with clear sole. With every chocoholic's favourite holiday now just around the corner...she will be showing us how to create Easter themed Embroidery Art Hoops! Get ready to explore diverse techniques such as off-the-edge scallops, couching, pivotal sewing and appliqué. The techniques learned can be applied to all types of projects from home décor to garments.
 
Through this project Steph will not only improve your sewing techniques but guide you in creating a picture-perfect Easter. These themed embroidery hoops make a fabulously cute addition to any living or dining room and will bring some Easter sparkle to your home.


You will need:

  • Bernina sewing machine - Steph's currently using the latest 570QE
  • Bernina Embroidery Foot #39 with clear sole
  • 3 wooden embroidery hoops (range of sizes work well)
  • A range of large scrap fabrics in an Easter colour theme
  • Bondaweb
  • Stitch & Tear stabiliser
  • Dissolvable stabiliser
  • Threads to match
  • Wool
  • Embroidery thread
  • Scissors
  • Cord
  • Ribbon
  • Paper
  • Large eye hand sewing needle
