BERNINA TO HOST FEET RETREAT 2 AT THE BERNINA CREATIVE CENTER ON OCTOBER 28 AND 29

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that it is accepting registration for BERNINA Feet Retreat 2, a two-day, hands-on sewing workshop that will focus on BERNINA’s specialty presser feet and accessories. The workshop will be held at the BERNINA Creative Center on Tuesday, October 28 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 29 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The event fee is $299, which includes class kit supplies, an instructional CD, BERNINA Store shopping opportunities, access to BERNINA 580 machines, and lunch. Previous attendance at Feet Retreat 1 is not a prerequisite for this class. The BERNINA Creative Center is located at 3682 Unit B Prairie Lake Court, next to the BERNINA of America headquarters.
 
Presser feet hold fabric flat as it is fed through the sewing machine and stitched, allowing for faster and more professional-looking results. Each attendee will enjoy hands-on sewing with a variety of BERNINA specialty feet and accessories, including BERNINA’s DesignWorks Software Suite tools, PaintWork, CutWork and CrystalWork, the Cordonnet foot, Patchwork feet, and Non-stick feet. In addition, attendees will learn more about the BERNINA Stitch Regulator, Eyelet set and Binder attachment, and explore unique techniques while stitching fun projects. BERNINA 580 sewing machines and accessories will be provided for classroom use.

The 4,500-square-foot BERNINA Creative Center opened in 2013 and consists of three rooms with enough space to hold up to 50 attendees and BERNINA machines. Events at the Center are designed to help consumers and BERNINA Dealers advance their sewing, quilting and embroidering skills.
