BERNINA DEALER HOOVER’S BERNINA SEW TO CELEBRATE 27TH ANNIVERSARY SEPTEMBER 12 AND 13 IN MIFFLINBURG PENNSYLVANIA

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Hoover’s BERNINA Sew, a BERNINA Dealer in Mifflinburg, Penn., is hosting an open house on Friday, September 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in celebration of its 27^th anniversary. BERNINA Educators Susan Fears and Amanda Whitlatch will be in attendance to demonstrate BERNINA’s newest machines including the BERNINA 530 Swiss Edition, BERNINA Q 24 and BERNINA E 16. In addition, BERNINA of America president and CEO, Paul Ashworth, will be on-hand with Jennifer Gigas, BERNINA of America vice president of professional consumer products, to unveil the BERNINA Q 24 Long Arm machine. The event is free and each attendee will be given a ticket at the door to participate in a special BERNINA machine giveaway. Guests must visit each machine demonstration, taking place at the event, to get their ticket punched for a chance to win a BERNINA 880, BERNINA 330 or BERNINA 700D. Three winners will be chosen on Saturday, September 13 at 3:30 p.m. Ice cream will also be served to celebrate the anniversary and new BERNINA products.
 
BERNINA Educator Susan Fears is from Florida and is one of BERNINA’s Experts on its WeAllSew blog. Susan is a designer, teacher and BERNINA 8 Series expert who loves to sew clothes. Amanda Whitlatch is a BERNINA educator with a passion for sewing and technology. Earning a B.S. in Environment, Textiles, and Design from University of Wisconsin - Madison, she provides innovative techniques and an enthusiasm for teaching. She has worked in the sewing industry for 14 years and has won numerous national awards and competitions for her wearable art creations. Her garments have been featured in the BERNINA Fashion Show.
