BERNINA DEALER PAULA’S FINE FABRICS TO HOST SEWAPALOOZA FEATURING NANCY BEDNAR SATURDAY MAY 17 IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Paula’s Fine Fabrics, a BERNINA Dealer in Jacksonville, Fla., is hosting Sewapalooza, a hands-on sewing, quilting and embroidery workshop on Saturday, May 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  BERNINA Educator Nancy Bednar will lead attendees through three projects using embroidery, maching quilting and BERNINA accessories.  The cost is $49 and includes supplies, use of BERNINA machines and accessories, lunch, and snacks.  The event will take place at Paula’s Fine Fabrics, located at 8358 Point Meadows Drive.  To register, call (904)519-7705 or stop by the store.
 
Nancy Bednar is a sewing educator, freelance instructor and author.  A passionate sewer since elementary school, she has explored and enjoyed many creative and practical aspects of sewing – from garment and home decorating projects to bridal and special occasion sewing. Nancy has trained BERNINA Dealers and consumers alike on all aspects of sewing with a special emphasis on garment stitching and creative machine techniques using both the sewing machine and overlocker/serger.  Her published books include The Encyclopedia of Sewing Machine Techniques and Silk Ribbon Machine Embroidery.
