BERNINA TO HOST TWO-DAY RETREAT TO QUILTING AT THE BERNINA CREATIVE CENTER IN AURORA ILLINOIS

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that it is accepting registration for a two-day event called BERNINA Retreat to Quilting that will take place at the BERNINA Creative Center in Aurora, Ill.  Attendees will enjoy a relaxed approach to beginning quilting techniques on Tuesday, June 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The cost is $299 for both days and includes kit supplies, an instructional CD, and lunch.  BERNINA machines and accessories are also provided.  The BERNINA Creative Center is located at 3682 Unit B Prairie Lake Court, next to the BERNINA of America headquarters.

Attendees will create a collection of Zen-inspired projects while learning several quilting techniques like accurate piecing, quilting-in-the-hoop, free-motion quilting with the BERNINA Stitch Regulator, quilting using the BERNINA Circular Embroidery Attachment, and quilting with an overlocker/serger.  For more information and to register, please visit here. 
 
The 4,500-square-foot BERNINA Creative Center opened in 2013 and consists of three rooms with enough space to hold up to 50 attendees and BERNINA machines.  Events at the Center are designed to help consumers and BERNINA Dealers advance their sewing, quilting and embroidering skills.
