BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that it will exhibit its new top-of-the-line BERNINA 880 (B 880) at the 2014 Vacuum & Sewing Dealers Trade Association (VDTA/SDTA) Convention and Show on Monday, February 10 through Wednesday, February 12 at booth 519. The event will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, located at 3150 Paradise Road. In addition, Paul Ashworth, President of BERNINA of America, will appear on a panel of industry leaders to discuss sales and marketing during the Convention and Show's 9th Annual Dealer Town Hall Meeting on Monday, February 10 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Room S-223.

BERNINA will also demonstrate its new BERNINA 560 (B 560), BERNINA Embroidery Software 7 and the bernette Chicago at the Convention and Show. The B 560 has an optional embroidery module and is compatible with BERNINA's DesignWorks Software Suite. Software 7, the latest version of BERNINA's powerful embroidery software, features three-Dimensional (3-D) effects that offer users embroidery software on a whole new level. The bernette Chicago is the first bernette model to sew and embroider. bernette is marketed and sold by BERNINA.

The B 880 boasts plenty of space, with a full 12 inches to the right of the needle for sewing and jumbo embroidery, and has a fast sewing speed of 1,200 stitches per minute. Sewists can create unique embroidery arrangements with the new Shaping feature and modify the colors of their embroideries with the new Color Wheel. They may also choose among 1,764 built-in stitches, creatively distort stitches, or create their own patterns with the innovative new Stitch Designer. Additionally, the B 880 comes standard with a seven-inch color touch screen with scrollable navigation, the BERNINA Dual Feed, the BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR), and a Jumbo Bobbin with 80 percent more thread capacity than standard bobbins.

On Monday, February 10 at 5:00 p.m., Paul Ashworth will join seven other panelists in Room S-223 for a Dealer Town Hall Meeting to discuss a variety of business-related topics, including:
