BERNINA WORLD OF SEWING TO HOST SEWAPALOOZA FEATURING LYN LACKEY SATURDAY MAY 31 IN RALEIGH NORTH CAROLINA

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that BERNINA World of Sewing, a BERNINA Dealer in Raleigh, N.C., is hosting Sewapalooza, a hands-on sewing, embroidery, and quilting workshop on Saturday, May 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  BERNINA Educator Lyn Lackey will lead attendees through two quilting and embroidery projects for sewists of all levels.  The workshop will take place at BERNINA World of Sewing, which is located at 6013 Glenwood Ave.  The cost is $59 and includes all supplies and lunch.  To register, call (919)782-2945 or stop by the store.
 
BERNINA Educator Lyn Lackey is from Cary, N.C., and has been sewing and teaching most of her life.  She started as a Home Economics teacher and later taught at a BERNINA Dealer.  In 1986 she fell in love with BERNINA after purchasing a BERNINA 930.  Shortly after, she became a BERNINA Educator.  Lyn was also a District Manager for BERNINA of America from 1999 to 2013.  She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for creativity and BERNINA products with new and experienced students.  Modern Quilting is her latest passion, but Lyn enjoys every segment of sewing and teaching.
